Moving into a New Class Letter

Your child moving up to a new class within their current school, kindy, preschool, childcare or extracurricular activity can bring a mix of big feelings - excitement, nervousness, curiosity, and even a few tummy flutters. This real letter, delivered straight to your child’s post box, has been written by an Early Childhood Educator in consultation with a psychologist to provide a gentle, age-appropriate way to navigate the emotions of moving in to a new class. Through the heartfelt undersea story of her first day in a new classroom at the Coral Reef Academy, Nixie helps children feel prepared, reassured, and excited about their own transition into a new classroom environment.
